RETURN ELIGIBILITY

We accept returns for books that are:

Damaged upon arrival – Books received with physical damage
Defective or misprinted – Manufacturing defects, missing pages, or printing errors
Incorrect item – Wrong title, edition, or item sent

Return Window: You must request a return within 7 days of receiving your order.

Important: We do not accept returns based on:

RETURN CONDITIONS

To be eligible for a return, books must be:

📖 In the same condition as received
📖 Unread with no markings, writing, highlighting, or customer-caused damage

Books showing signs of use (bent pages, markings, wear) will not be accepted for return.

HOW TO REQUEST A RETURN

To initiate a return, contact us at support@booktanks.com within 7 days of delivery with:

  2. Reason for return (damaged, defective, or incorrect item)
  3. Clear photos showing the issue (for damaged, defective, or incorrect items)

Response Time: Our team will review your request and provide instructions within 2 business days.

Important: Do not send items back without prior authorization. Unauthorized returns will not be accepted.

RETURN SHIPPING

For Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items:

NON-RETURNABLE ITEMS

The following items cannot be returned:

❌ Books in sale or clearance section (marked as final sale)
❌ Digital downloads or e-books
❌ Gift cards or vouchers
❌ Customized or personalized items
❌ Items without defects where customer changed their mind
❌ Books showing signs of use (bent pages, markings, highlighting, annotations, etc.)
❌ Books with removed or damaged ISBN stickers or barcodes

DAMAGED OR DEFECTIVE ITEMS

If you receive a damaged or defective book:

Immediate Actions:

  1. 📦 Inspect upon delivery – Check your order as soon as it arrives
  2. 📸 Take clear photos – Photograph the damage, including packaging

Note: We recommend taking photos or videos when unboxing, especially if the outer packaging shows signs of damage.

WRONG ITEM RECEIVED

If you receive the wrong book or item:

  2. Provide your order number and photos of the item received
  3. Keep the wrong item until we provide return instructions

We Will:

  • Arrange for the correct item to be sent at no additional cost
  • Provide return instructions for the wrong item

EXCHANGES

We do not offer direct exchanges at this time.

If You Need a Different Book:

  1. Request a return for the original item (if eligible)
  2. Once the return is approved and refund is processed
  3. Place a new order for the item you want

Why This Process? This ensures you receive your preferred item as quickly as possible without delays.

SHIPPING FEE REFUNDS

Shipping fees are generally non-refundable, except in these cases:

✅ The item is unavailable and we cannot fulfill your order
✅ We shipped the wrong item

In these cases, shipping fees will be refunded along with the item cost.

Change of Mind: Shipping fees are not refunded for returns due to customer preference or change of mind (where applicable).

ORDER CANCELLATION
